Location: ADOM, Academy of Diagnostic and Osteopathic Medicine

Position Type: Part-Time (3 days per week)

About Us: ADOM Academy of Diagnostic and Osteopathic Medicine is at the forefront of diagnostic medical education and osteopathic research, specializing in non-radiative diagnostic tools and ultrasound procedures.

ADOM Academy is seeking a highly organized, student-centered individual to serve as an Academic Support Specialist & Administrative Assistant. This role provides both academic support to students and administrative assistance to faculty and staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and passionate about education, student success, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Support (Student-Facing):

• Serve as the primary point of contact for students needing academic assistance, scheduling help, or learning resources.

• Coordinate and track student progress, attendance, and academic concerns in collaboration with instructors and program directors.

• Assist students with understanding academic policies, digital platforms, and accessing course materials.

• Provide guidance with clinical case log submissions, externship documentation, and assignment deadlines.

• Support the implementation of tutoring, review sessions, and remediation plans.

• Help maintain a positive learning environment that supports student achievement and well-being.

Administrative Support (Operations-Facing):

• Manage scheduling, correspondence, and calendar coordination for leadership and faculty.

• Assist with onboarding new students, processing documents, and maintaining accurate student records.

• Support preparation and tracking of course materials, supplies, and reports.

• Help maintain inventory of lab and classroom equipment and ensure readiness for instructional use.

• Handle reception duties, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries appropriately.

• Organize meetings, take minutes, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, business administration, or related field.

• Experience in a school or academic setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and student learning systems (LMS).

• Demonstrated commitment to student success and educational integrity.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ultrasound, diagnostic imaging education, or healthcare training programs.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

• Prior experience in hybrid or online learning environments.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $20 - $30 per hour, based on experience.
