Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for managing fixed assets, inventory and standard costing input. Apply accounting theory and principals when completing general ledger functions to include: journal entries, AP/AR and ledger reconciliations. Extract, organize and review financial data for inter-departmental processes and external department personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Apply accounting theory and principals when performing GL functions
  • Extract, organize and review financial records to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to internal control policies
  • Apply GAAP or IFRS standards to all tasks
  • Intercompany Accounting experience
  • Accounts Receivable experience
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Facilitate the archiving of backup documentation
  • Facilitate the retrieval of documentation for regulatory agencies

Qualifications

  • Educated in Accounting
  • 3+ of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
