Powerwell is a leading recruitment firm helping our clients discover top talent. We are recruiting for a Direct Mail Advertising Sales Representative. Candidates must be able to work onsite at our client’s office in Plymouth, MI.

This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell our client’s products and/or services. The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.

A bonus plan is also available for this position.

Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Sales Representative to drive direct mail advertising sales. The candidate will connect with businesses to promote direct mail solutions that target and engage their customers. Responsibilities include identifying sales prospects, conducting presentations, developing tailored advertising strategies, and maintaining client relationships. Strong communication and consultative sales skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify leads in target markets.
  • Develop and present direct mail advertising strategies to clients.
  • Manage sales pipeline and track performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate, Promote, & Sell Our Client's Products & Services - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Develop & Foster Relationships - Maintain close communications with prospects to close sales and promote customer retention.
  • Meet & Exceed Targets - Achieve monthly and quarterly individual and team goals for new customer acquisition.
  • Track Progress & Results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.

  • Research & Understand Target Market - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and our client's overall market opportunity.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in advertising or marketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.

Required Education & Skill Sets:

  • One to two years’ experience selling a product or service.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent ability to manage and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals.
  • Advanced skills in communicating, selling and negotiating.
  • Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
