Job Description

Position: Contract Applications Engineer Mid

Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)

Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and conduct studies related to next-gen computing, focusing on user experiences in AR, VR, and MR.
• Collect and analyze biomechanical and physiological data (motion capture, EMG, force data, etc.).
• Develop scripts for time-series data analysis and interpretation (Matlab, Python, or R).
• Manage and maintain lab equipment, ensuring participant safety and comfort.
• Synthesize and present data to the team and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Education : Master’s or Doctorate in Biomechanics , Mechanical Engineering , or equivalent experience.
• Experience :
• Human participant research experience.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment for data collection, calibration, and analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing data using Matlab, Python, or R (experience with C-Motion Visual 3D scripting is preferred).
• Knowledge of kinematics , EMG , and biomechanical analysis.

• Preferred Skills : Experience in consumer product development research and familiarity with sensors (motion capture, accelerometers, pressure sensors, etc.).

Additional Info:

• The position is 100% onsite in Seattle, WA with no remote flexibility.
