Job Description

RETS Associates on behalf of our client, a Beverly Hills -based private real estate firm is seeking a qualified Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s real estate holdings. Portfolio consists primarily of office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties throughout Southern California and certain other markets. We are looking for a candidate with experience managing all aspects of a property during its life cycle, including leasing, financing, and dispositions. The candidate will work with and report directly to the company’s Principals. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, diligent and detail oriented, independent individual who is proactive and willing to learn and work in an open and energetic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute property business plans for each asset in the portfolio
  • Work closely with 3rd party management companies, leasing brokers, contractors, and onsite staff
  • Analyze annual budgets and property financials to determine revenue enhancing opportunities
  • Negotiate leases with existing and prospective tenants, and monitor leasing velocity / market conditions and adjust business plans accordingly
  • Interface with attorneys, architects, contractors, engineers, and designers
  • Manage a variety of renovation projects including tenant improvements and common area upgrades
  • Work with lenders to refinance existing properties as needed
  • Negotiate vendor contracts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a proven track record of academic excellence (prefer real estate, business or economics major or minor)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret and negotiate legal documents
  • The ideal candidate will have no less than 5 years of related professional real estate experience, including minimum 3 years as asset manager
