Job Description

TWP is seeking a creative and passionate Assistant Designer to join our Design Team. The Assistant Designer is responsible for supporting the design team in all areas including sketching, creating tech packs, updating BOMs, creating flats and CADs, updating boards, and taking notes for the team. The role reports directly to the Senior Designer and is based in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the design team to recolor flats, CAD patterns on flats, and upload and manage styles in working WIPs and Line-sheet.
• Organize and maintain records of all creative development
• Assist in sketching and creating TPs for new and repeat styles
• Creates flat technical Illustrator sketches for Design development tech packs
• Maintain physical design boards and continually ensure they are updated

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Design (internships included)
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent eye for color and detail
• Must be driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of embellishments or experience making embellishment layouts a plus
• Knowledge of fully fashioned sweaters and cut and sew knits a plus.
