Assistant Director – Fashion Startup (Hybrid Role)

Rooted in craftsmanship and authenticity, we’re building a brand that celebrates women in their power — and we’re looking for an Assistant Director ready to help shape our next chapter.
About the Role
As the Assistant Director, you’ll be a key player in our small but mighty team — involved in every side of the business, from operations and logistics to e-commerce and wholesale. This is a hybrid role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and wants to grow alongside a visionary founder.
You’ll collaborate directly with the Founder, creative teams, and external partners to ensure the seamless execution of daily operations, product launches, and wholesale relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about fashion, problem-solving, and brand building.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Operations
Oversee and update Shopify product pages, ensuring all product information, imagery, and copy meet brand standards.
Support product launches, seasonal collections, and digital campaigns.
Track inventory, coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners, and ensure timely fulfillment.
Manage customer service inquiries with a focus on exceptional experience and attention to detail.
Wholesale & Partnerships
Serve as the main point of contact for retail and wholesale partners.
Input, track, and manage wholesale orders, coordinating closely with factories and warehouse teams.
Create invoices, follow up on payments, and maintain compliance with shipping and vendor requirements.
Prepare line sheets, order confirmations, and sales performance reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Liaise with PR, production, and creative teams for product coordination, gifting, and photo shoots.
Support reporting, financial tracking, and communication across teams.
Work closely with the Founder to develop systems that improve efficiency and scalability as the brand grows.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations, e-commerce, or coordination within a fashion or consumer startup.
Proficient in Shopify and Google Workspace; experience with Excel/Sheets and 3PL systems is a plus.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable working across multiple priorities with adaptability and initiative.
Passion for luxury or contemporary fashion and understanding of the startup dynamic.
Creative problem-solver with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
