Job Description

We are looking for a talented Associate Designer to join our legwear design team. This individual will help design and manage our brands with different distribution levels as well as multiple legwear assortments. The Associate Designer will create print and pattern, develop sketches, and CAD recoloring. They will also work on creating tech packs in PLM, organizing charts, and keeping track of samples. We are looking for a great team player and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create unique and new designs for each season.
  • Market research online and in stores.
  • Create/update Tech Packs in PLM.
  • Review protos and PPS daily.
  • Color and trend research for upcoming seasons.
  • Follow up with cross-functional partners to keep seasonal development on track per the calendar.
  • Point person in communication with all departments – Product Development, Production, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Ensures PLM data is correct, makes comments/changes to factories.
  • Ability to design brand with a full understanding of brand identity.
  • Submit several iterations of socks
  • Present to internal team members and external stakeholders
  • Partner with all cross functional teams and production team on prototypes

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of relevant design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, including experience with color application techniques
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with PLM systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research trends, color palettes, and the competitive landscape

Annual starting salary of $60,000.

The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package. Our associates have access to other valuable benefits that our Human Resources team is happy to share with candidates during the interview process.
