Fluidic Process Systems Integration Manager - will develop high-purity fluid process systems for food & beverage, dairy, breweries, personal care products (creams, shampoos & other liquids), pharmaceutical & biotech market sectors.
Once the end-product is formulated, automated equipment is required to dispense and fill bottles, cans or other receptacles. Once that is done, they must be transported and inserted into whatever packaging is used to deliver it to its eventual destination.
The Systems Integration Manager leads & coordinates packaging-related projects & services, and ensures that packaging solutions are designed & installed, and that the materials & processes meet quality standards - within budget & project timelines…. all in a fast-paced environment.
Other duties include:
Packaging Design/Development: Starting with client collaboration, assess their needs, design the packaging solution and recommend equipment suppliers
Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans; scope, deliverables & timelines. Coordinate cross-functional teams (procurement, EE, ME, automation) for efficient installation, working with in-house client resources
Cost Management: Create/manage/monitor budgets – track expenses – optimize costs.
Risk Management: Identify / mitigate perceived risks
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Communicate project progress and anyvadjustments to project plans to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Management: Hire, train develop, evaluate Packaging Dept. members. Develop methods, guidelines & policies to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Skills & Experience :
• BSME/related: 5+ years Packaging Mgt. (Prefer liquid processing packaging equipment, materials, and processes)
• Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office/other software.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Aware of FDA/GMP/ISO regulations and standards
