Position Overview:

We are seeking a Biomedical Engineer who will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and testing of medical devices such as infusion pumps, oxygen blenders, vital signs monitors, and other medical equipment. In addition to technical service, this role will involve providing training and guidance to biomedical technician students, helping them build real-world repair skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards
• Document service activities and maintain accurate repair records
• Provide hands-on training and supervision to students or entry-level technicians
• Assist in developing training materials and standard operating procedures
• Stay current with equipment updates, repair techniques, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, quality-focused work environment
• Experience with ISO documentation and safety protocols is a plus
