This role is on-site daily in Lancaster, California.
We are seeking an AutoCAD Designer to support our design and engineering team. This role is 80% drafting and 20% construction engineering coordination , ensuring designs are accurately translated into a standardized format.
You will spearhead the design and layout of electrical construction prints for technicians for Public Works and military bases. Utilized and calculated voltage drop, wiring schedule, conduit fill chart, sequence of operations, equipment lists, conduit runs, and riser diagrams for fire alarm, mass notification, access control, and security alarm systems. Design and develop advanced Electrical prints utilizing advanced knowledge of equipment specification and code requirements. You will prepare & submit packages to AHJ for review and approval.
✔ 5 years of AutoCAD design and drafting experience
✔2 years of construction or electrical/fire alarm industry
✔Submit AHJ approvals and material submittals
✔Sit in on coordination meetings
