Job Description

We are seeking a sales-driven, dynamic professional to drive growth in high quality student enrollments for all our educational programs at Paul Mitchell The School Provo. The ideal candidate must possess a true passion for inspiring and mentoring young, creative future professionals to excel in the beauty industry. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by competent organizational abilities and great attention to detail. The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for attracting new prospective students through various channels such as career fairs, open houses, community expos, high school presentations, salon networking, and personal marketing efforts. The candidate will systematically capture, organize, and manage leads using a computer-based customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Position Summary

The Campus Recruiter at Paul Mitchell The School Provo is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract prospective students through community engagement and outreach initiatives. This role focuses on organizing and participating in local events to increase awareness of the school's programs in cosmetology, barbering, hair design, basic esthetics, and nails, while building strong relationships within the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy to generate leads and increase enrollment for our Cosmetology, Barber, Hair Desing, Basic Esthetics, and Nail programs.
  • Plan, organize, and participate in community events, such as fairs, festivals, workshops, and open houses, to showcase the programs offered at Paul Mitchell The School.
  • Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to establish partnerships and promote our educational offerings.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations at community events, highlighting the benefits and opportunities of a career in the beauty industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, and community influencers, providing information and guidance on program offerings and the enrollment process.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of community engagement efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and community needs to effectively communicate the value of our programs.

Experience

  • Proven experience in recruitment, community outreach, or a similar role, preferably within the education or beauty industry.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
  • Experience in organizing and executing events, with attention to detail and logistics.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for community events.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry and making a positive impact through education.
