APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Howe, IN looking to add a seasoned CDL A driver to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to transport goods and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Does this sound like the job for you? What your day will look like:

• Operate company trucks to deliver goods and materials to specified destinations.
• Ensure deliveries are made on schedule and according to assigned routes.
• Load and unload cargo safely, maintaining the integrity of the load.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, perform routine maintenance, and report any vehicle issues or defects.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Follow safety procedures for the handling and transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, and incidents.
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring accurate delivery documentation.
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel usage.
• Adjust to changing conditions and traffic patterns to ensure timely deliveries.

What we are looking for:

• Valid CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver preferred.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent driving skills with a solid commitment to safety.
• Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems.
