Job Description

Our biopharmaceutical client in San Diego is in need of a Clinical Program Manager to help oversee the transfer of an entire clinical program. This program, currently in phase 1A, will be transferred from an external partner back to the client. This consultant will oversee and organize all transfer activities, manage external and external communications, and create a robust and very detailed Gantt.

This is a 4-6 month long project. Fully remote consultants will be considered. Consultants who can be onsite in San Diego are preferred, but experience will be prioritized.

Responsibilities :

• Lead short-term, high-intensity project efforts using detailed Gantt charts to track timelines and deliverables
• Map out all necessary activities of internal stakeholders for successful clinical program transfer.
• Coordinate all alliance management activities with external partner.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive accountability across teams and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Communicate cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, and CMC teams.

Requirements :

• BS Degree minimum; 8-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong background in program/project management
• Extensive clinical program experience
• Strong organizational, planning, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience managing internal and external relationships
• Experience with Smartsheet preferred
