COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Caplin Steriles USA Inc. is the latest courageous venture by Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd. and its storied history of taking the road less traveled to fulfill the healthcare needs of the underserved.

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Caplin Steriles Ltd. India and operate as their sales and marketing arm for the U.S market. The Commercial Operations Manager will be located at our Schaumburg, IL office and plays a key role in supporting Caplin’s successful achievement of both short-term and long-term goals. This role will focus on oversight of customer contracting activities, chargeback management/oversight, supporting new product launch activities, and various other internal activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the product, customer, and pricing set-up notification process with all internal and external partners.
• Responsible for contract maintenance including contract loading activities and updating contract membership files.
• Support the management and oversight of Caplin’s third party logistics provider.
• Responsible for researching, resolving, analyzing, and trending chargeback discrepancies to result in appropriate credits within Wholesaler / Distributor contractual terms.
• Monitor monthly/quarterly contract performance requirements.
• Provide analytical support for administrative fee and rebate payments.
• Support the completion of Caplin’s new product launch activities.
• Other activities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of direct experience the in generic injectable pharmaceutical industry or comparable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Science degree preferred).
• Demonstrated success working as part of a cross-functional team with ever-changing and growing needs.
• Must be a self-starter willing to meet aggressive goals and be actively involved in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit is required.
• Candidate must be located in the Chicagoland area and required to be in the office three days a week.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Approximately 10% travel required.
