Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a FAA Compliance Specialist for a Direct hire opportunity with a client in Kansas City, MO / Wichita, KS.

Salary Range: 90k – 160k (Depending upon experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, directives, policy, and guidance.
Manage the performance of ODA authorized functions.
Develop, deliver, and maintain ODA unit member training.
Ensure compliance with ODA training requirements.
Support ODA unit member selection process.
Support the performance of ODA audit activity and corrective action process.
Ensure compliance with service difficulty monitoring and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with record maintenance requirements.
Coordinate ODA project activity with applicants, ODA unit members and other personnel.
Direct communications to and from the ODA.
Maintain the ODA procedures manual.

SKILLS REQUIRED, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE,

Sufficient technical knowledge, training, skill, and experience with FAA STC ODA processes.
Sufficient technical knowledge, training, skill, and experience with FAA quality management.
Bachelor's degree with minimum five years working experience supporting technical teams.
Skilled in developing and ensuring adherence to company processes and procedures.
Demonstrated experience in a technical regulatory compliance environment.
