Job Summary
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role includes managing budgets, schedules, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The Construction Manager will coordinate various teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
LOCATION: Dayton, OH /Richmond IN
EDUCATION: 2-year degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE: Industrial Process Construction - Superintendent level of knowledge, Piping, Electrical Power and Motor Controls, Process Sheet Metal, Material Handling, Structural Steel, Concrete, demolition, OSHA, LOTO, Fall Protection, cranes, scheduling
EXPERIENCE: 10 years minimum total experience in Chemical Processing Plant Construction Management
SPECIAL SKILLS: MS Excel at Intermediate level or greater; MS Project at advanced level; Working knowledge of Industrial plant safety concerns & regulations; Must be able to navigate stairs, fixed ladders, elevated walkways and work surfaces
COMMENTS: Remote does not apply to this position since it's an onsite position but there will be time in the beginning and at the end for remote. Per Diem is available
PREFERABLE : Successful candidate enjoys working on-site and outside of the trailer. Looking for someone that can take direction and who is patient with the client but who also knows when to ask questions and gets things done.
