We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects throughout the Los Angeles market. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader with a strong background in big box and retail construction who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
What You Will Do
Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up big box and retail projects in the Los Angeles area.
Manage daily jobsite operations, including subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
Ensure construction is executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Coordinate inspections, inspection sign-offs, and compliance with local jurisdictions and agencies throughout Los Angeles County.
Maintain and drive project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving field issues.
Enforce jobsite safety programs and lead by example to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, ownership teams, inspectors, and design partners.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects.
Strong experience with big box and retail construction is required.
Proven ability to manage fast-paced schedules and multiple trades simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of California and Los Angeles building codes, inspections, and safety requirements.
Ability and willingness to travel locally within Southern California as projects require.
