Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial ground-up projects in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field experience managing multi-story, steel and concrete structures from start to finish.

The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day jobsite operations, safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects
• Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and trade partners
• Coordinate schedules, inspections, and deliveries to maintain project timelines
• Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Conduct daily site walks and progress meetings
• Maintain quality control and resolve field issues as they arise
• Work closely with Project Managers and ownership to ensure project success

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects
• Proven experience with multi-story buildings , elevators, and steel/concrete structures
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and means & methods
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedules
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• OSHA certification preferred
