This is a Direct Hire Opportunity with the Client

To be considered you must have Data Center or Commercial Property experience - also must have Yardi experience

Construction Operations Coordinator (Contract Administrator) to join a leading Company located in the McLean, VA surrounding area.

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant administration of the construction and engineering departments.

Responsibilities :

  • Review leases, loan documents, and management agreements to determine construction costs, responsibilities, and requirements.
  • Set up job codes and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Yardi platform to manage contracts, permits, and vendor documents effectively.
  • Ensure that contracts, proposals, and vendor agreements are executed with all required signatures and are properly tracked for compliance.
  • Oversee bond execution by obtaining all required signatures on bonding documents.
  • Expedite permit processing by ensuring permits are signed, compliant, and processed promptly, with checks issued to the appropriate expeditor.
  • Process construction invoices and GC pay application packages (G702 and G703) using the Yardi platform; reconcile design and construction vendor invoices; review or revise job budgets as needed; and review and approve lien releases and insurance requirements in construction contracts.
  • Coordinate insurance requirements for projects and manage the documentation of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and W9s from vendors.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding processes, contract status, permits, or payments.
  • Support team meetings, departmental goals, and collaborative projects.
  • Review and audit employee expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely processing.
  • Research, develop, and implement innovative, best-in-class contract practices.

Basic Hiring Criteria :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of construction project management experience with relevant experience in the commercial real estate industry preferred.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Overall knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in Yardi and Sharepoint, preferred.
