Job Description

Credit Analyst, Credit & Lending

Deal Packaging & Lender Outreach

Custom Capital — Remote (U.S.)

About Us

Custom Capital is a vertically-integrated commercial real estate origination platform that connects high-net-worth investors with institutional-quality Absolute NNN (triple net lease) investment opportunities nationwide.

We're not a broker. We're not a developer. We function as a shared family office—sourcing deals, performing full due diligence, assembling equity, coordinating financing, and managing every step from LOI to close. Our members get 100% ownership of cash-flowing commercial properties with truly zero landlord responsibilities.

Operating remotely with a tech-driven platform, we outpace traditional brokers with faster execution, better terms, and institutional-grade processes. Our investments range from $2M–$25M, and we've experienced 200–300% YOY growth with over $350M in transactional value expected this year.

We're building an elite team to match our ambitions.

The Role

We're looking for a Credit Analyst to support deal packaging and lender outreach within our Credit & Lending department. This is an entry-level analyst role for someone with strong financial modeling skills who wants to develop expertise in commercial real estate lending.

You'll build financial models, prepare lender presentations, analyze tenant credit, and support the team in assembling bank-ready loan submissions. This role reports to the Lending Manager and offers clear advancement opportunities as you develop expertise.

What You'll Do

Build Financial Models:  Prepare NOI calculations, DSCR analysis, and cash-on-cash return projections. Create models that support lender submissions and investor presentations.

Prepare Investor Personal Financial Statement: Assemble Investors Personal Financial Statement and asses their financial strength to ensure they meet lender and deal-specific qualification requirements for the property they plan to purchase.

Prepare Lender Presentations:  Create compelling financial presentation materials highlighting both the project and borrower/investor. Ensure presentations are accurate and bank-ready.

Analyze Tenant Credit:  Research tenant financials, evaluate credit strength, and summarize findings for lender packages. Understand how tenant credit impacts financing.

Support Lease Analysis:  Review lease abstracts, identify key terms relevant to underwriting, and flag issues that could impact loan approval.

Maintain Deal Data:  Track lender preferences, submission requirements, and deal metrics. Contribute to improving lender targeting based on historical performance.

Who You Are

2–4 years in financial analysis, credit analysis, or commercial real estate,  with strong Excel/financial modeling skills. Internship experience in CRE lending, investment banking, or private equity is a plus.

Strong analytical foundation— you understand financial statements, can calculate key CRE metrics (NOI, DSCR, cap rates), and are comfortable building models from scratch.

Commercial real estate exposure— familiarity with NNN investments, lease structures, or commercial lending. Understanding of how banks evaluate CRE loans is a plus.

Detail-oriented— you catch errors before they become problems. Accuracy in financial work is non-negotiable.

Strong communication skills— able to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Tech-savvy— proficient in Excel, comfortable learning new systems (Monday.com, HubSpot, Slack).

You'll Thrive Here If You...

Love financial analysis— you genuinely enjoy building models and diving into numbers.

Want to learn CRE lending— this role offers direct exposure to how commercial real estate deals get financed.

Value fast-paced environments— with clear accountability and visible impact on deal outcomes.

Are comfortable with ambiguity— you can operate effectively while processes are being refined.

Want to grow— demonstrated performance leads to rapid advancement within Credit & Lending.

Why Join Us?

Career Launchpad:  Build foundational CRE lending skills that will serve your entire career.

Learn From the Best:  Work alongside experienced lending professionals and develop expertise quickly.

High-Value Deal Exposure:  Work on $2M–$25M commercial transactions across the U.S. in a rapidly growing platform.

Elite Environment:  Join a team that values speed, precision, and initiative—and rewards top performance.

Competitive Compensation:  Base + variable compensation commensurate with experience and performance.

Ready to launch your CRE lending career? Apply now.
