About the Role:

Sloan has a great opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our Franklin Park, IL headquarters reporting to our Customer Support Manager. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling inquiries, resolving issues and offering product and service information. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers where you'll deliver high quality support ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This role is hybrid, working three days in the office and two days from home after a training period. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you:

What you'll do:

  • Respond to internal and external customers with information that includes order status, order expedites and changes, pricing, product availability and lead-times, replacements, returns and shortages.
  • Enter and review customer purchase orders and provide customers with feedback on any discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or obsolete material..
  • You'll become familiar with the company’s products and policies in order to recommend alternatives and solutions to product issues
  • You'll become knowledgeable of competitive products and research online and through other sources for additional competitive information.
  • Work cross-functionally with resources inside and outside of Sloan, anticipating customer’s needs and providing solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Years Relevant Experience in Customer Support
  • Basic project management skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience fwith Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships in a demanding work environment, with co-workers, supervisors and customers.

Compensation: The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $50,700 - $60,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan. The terms and conditions of the company incentive plan will be provided to plan participants on an annual basis. Our compensation range reflects our good faith estimate of what an ideal candidate can expect, but final agreed upon compensation will always be based on the individual candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related or market factors that may prove relevant during the hiring process.
