Job Description

Agri-King is actively hiring a Ruminant Nutritionist to serve out of our Fulton, IL office. This role is focused on the dairy industry as a consultant to Agri-King’s sales team.

As a Ruminant Nutritionist with Agri-King , you will work with other ruminant nutritionists (dairy and beef) based in Fulton, IL. Approximately, 20 to 30% is required with opportunity both domestically and internationally in addition to trade show and conference attendance!

Job Duties

• Consulting via telephone and on-site with Agri-King Nutrition consultants and clients (large and small dairy farms)
• Adjusting or modifying dairy feed rations
• Occasionally meet with vendors and suppliers of feed ingredients
• Travel to farms throughout the United States/European Union/United Kingdom and attend trade shows and conferences
• Collaborate from time to time with Agri-King’s research and development team and be involved with field trials.

Requirements

• PhD in Dairy Nutrition required
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of PhD degree
• Proficiency working with sales representatives, Dairy Farmers, suppliers, vendors, etc.
• Ability to travel 20 to 30% of the time domestically and internationally as well as attend trade and conference shows
