Vector Windows, a fast-growing and continuously improving organization, is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our Technology Department. The Data Analyst will serve as a Domo administrator and a key resource for the collection, management, and analysis of data across all departments. By leveraging data insights, this role will drive business intelligence strategies and help the company make informed, data-driven decisions. Vector, one of the Granite Companies, is working in a cloud-based digital ecosystem that is highly collaborative and will continue to evolve and grow. The Data Analyst will actively and regularly participate in meetings with Digital leaders across the Granite Companies and will serve as a member of the Domo User Group, meeting every other month to share ideas and best practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain a secure and organized technical environment to support enterprise-wide data analytics.

• Domo Administration : Oversee user management, roles, permissions, and the establishment of best practices.
• Data Collection and Structuring : Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and usability.
• Ensure Data Integrity : Develop and document validation processes and protect data through proper classification methods.
• Troubleshoot and Optimize : Identify and resolve reporting issues while optimizing performance and assessing KPI effectiveness.

Foster a data-driven culture to enhance competitiveness and profitability in a dynamic industry.

• Enable Self-Service Data : Develop and implement methods for data democratization and AI-safe practices, empowering internal users.
• Elevate Data IQ : Provide training, develop best practices, and promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Assist business leaders in developing tools to derive insights and monitor performance.

• Collaborate Across Departments : Partner with key business leaders, technical experts, and subject matter specialists to understand needs, develop solutions, and enhance processes.
• Develop Analytics Solutions : Build and optimize reports and dashboards to meet internal customer requirements, suggest proactive analytics, and establish standards for visualizations.
• Support Continuous Improvement : Work with leadership to develop meaningful KPIs and provide analytical support for cross-functional projects.

Skills and Requirements

1. Proficiency with Business Intelligence platforms like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI.
2. Familiarity with cloud services, APIs, and data warehouse concepts.
3. Expertise in data transformation, ETL processes, and SQL or similar database systems.
4. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
6. A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
7. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
8. On-site is preferred, but a hybrid schedule may be available to the right candidate, with details to be negotiated.
9. Flexibility to periodically travel to Fergus Falls and support extended business hours as needed.
