Job Title: Data Entry Specialist – Temp-to-Hire

Location: Riverside, CA

Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Pay Rate: $20–25/hour

A leading auto manufacturing company is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support its Materials and Procurement team in Riverside. This is a hands-on, temp-to-hire opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented candidate who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

About the Role:

This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational data related to inventory and procurement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with cross-functional teams and is highly proficient in Excel and data transformation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update critical data systems related to inventory, procurement, and vendor performance
• Develop and manage dashboards using Power BI for real-time supply chain analytics
• Automate data processes through Power Query to reduce manual entry and enhance reporting efficiency
• Create dynamic Pivot Tables and Excel reports to identify procurement inefficiencies and support decision-making
• Support inventory control efforts through periodic counts and collaboration with shipping/receiving
• Summarize and report on procurement expenditures and vendor performance metrics

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and data visualization
• Experience or exposure with Power BI and Power Query preferred
• Attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and process improvement
• Ability to move between desk work and active floor support
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
