Job Opportunity: Digital Printing Operator at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance

Location: Jackson, MS

Role and Responsibilities : The Digital Printing Operator prints materials for inventory, home office departments, and sponsorships. This position is responsible for all photocopy requests received from job tickets and home office employee requests.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Operate high-speed digital printers to produce printed materials for inventory, home office departments and sponsorships.
  • Prepare and release print files using applicable software applications.
  • Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
  • Set-up and operate cutter, folder, collating-booklet maker and shrink wrap machine.
  • Glue, cut, and wrap insurance applications.
  • Provide management with completed job tickets including labor and inventory costs as requests are completed.
  • Provide assistance to home office employees regarding printing questions and requests.
  • Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Two years’ work experience preferably in digital printing, duplicating, or related operations
  • Graphic design experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of bindery equipment preferred
  • Good PC skills
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Good organization skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through one's integrity, courage to act and communication skills
  • Ability work with others effectively as exhibited through one's respect for people and commitment to teamwork
