We're Hiring: Director of Planned Giving
Are you a strategic and donor-focused fundraising professional with a passion for securing meaningful, lasting gifts? We’re looking for a Director of Planned Giving to lead and expand our planned giving program, engaging donors in legacy giving opportunities that make a lasting impact.
In this role, you will:
Manage and cultivate a portfolio of planned giving prospects and donors.
Develop and execute education and engagement strategies to inspire legacy gifts.
Secure a range of planned gifts, including bequests, trusts, and life-income gifts.
Partner with frontline fundraisers to integrate planned giving into donor strategies.
Launch and grow a planned giving recognition society.
Collaborate with communications, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless gift execution.
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing planned gifts.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to navigate complex giving vehicles and work collaboratively with donors and stakeholders. Demonstrated success with closing planned gifts, building/maintaining a planned giving program, and a managing a portfolio
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and development work experience required
Passion for connecting donors with opportunities to leave a lasting legacy.
