As Director of PR and Events, you will lead efforts to secure media placements, organize impactful events, and forge strategic partnerships that align with cultural trends.

The Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, editors, publishers, authors, and agents.
  • Identify and capitalize on cultural trends and events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Secure high-profile media placements to elevate brand awareness.
  • Craft compelling press materials, including pitches, media kits, and talking points.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in PR within publishing, media, entertainment, fashion, hospitality, or consumer technology.
  • Strong industry network with a proven ability to cultivate relationships across culturally relevant spaces.
  • Expertise in building brand equity through PR initiatives and high-impact events.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Data-driven mindset to inform strategy and decision-making.
