We are seeking candidates for a Drafter role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $40,000-$66,560 annually. Interested? Get more details below!

What you will do as a Drafter:

Review the project scope of work with the project manager and/or drafting manager
Produce necessary sketches, drawings, and schedules using company-provided software (Microvellum, AutoCAD, Office 365)
Review and self-edit shop drawings to assure adherence to project requirements, bid allowances, and company standards
Revise drawing sets and documentation per markups to prepare necessary shop and job site document sets
Communicate with internal departments and outside vendors
Assist Project Managers in managing drawing sets and project-specific documentation
Work with multiple project managers and projects concurrently
Use available resources to build your job-related skills and value in the department/company

What you need to be a Drafter:

CAD experience. Fluent in AutoCAD
Ability to think in 3D
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Computer literate – ability to navigate using Windows and Microsoft applications
Flexibility –requires extended periods working in a general office environment, working on multiple projects concurrently
Ability to use basic measuring tools – tape measure, architect's scale, protractor, and digital caliper
Excellent math skills
Excellent communication skills
