Ascendco Health is a fast-growing healthcare technology startup transforming how hospitals manage surgical operations and instrument tracking. We’re building smart, intuitive tools that make healthcare work better. We’re currently looking for an Education Specialist to join our team!

About the Role

As an Education Specialist , you’ll be the bridge between our technology and the people who use it. You’ll empower clients, internal teams, and service providers with the knowledge and tools to make the most of Ascendco’s software. From creating engaging learning content to facilitating live training and client onboarding, you’ll play a key role in driving product adoption and client success. This role blends education, creativity, and technology — including leveraging AI-powered tools like Synthesia to develop dynamic training and marketing videos. You’ll collaborate across departments, lead onboarding programs, and bring energy and clarity to every learning experience.

What You’ll Do

• Educate & Empower: Deliver engaging training for clients, internal teams, and service providers.
• Create Learning Content: Develop one-pagers, video tutorials, help articles, and release notes that make complex concepts simple.
• Leverage AI Tools: Use Synthesia to produce compelling, professional training and marketing videos featuring avatars, voiceovers, and screen recordings.
• Client Onboarding: Lead onsite and virtual training sessions for new client facilities; provide hands-on support during go-lives.
• Support Sales & Marketing: Partner with sales to showcase software to prospects, and collaborate with marketing on educational content and campaigns.
• Onboard New Ascenders: Design and lead internal onboarding programs that equip new hires for success.
• Lead Events: Help organize and facilitate Ascendco’s annual Super User Conference, ensuring a seamless, engaging experience for attendees.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication and presentation skills — you make complex ideas clear and engaging.
• Proven experience creating training materials, documentation, or video content.
• Strong organization and project management skills; you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High technical aptitude with a curiosity for learning new tools and software.
• Experience with platforms like Synthesia or other e-learning/video tools.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others learn.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client training and go-lives.
