Job Description

Payrate: $ 50.00 - $ 52.00/hr.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to develop and improve industrial control products such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), I/O modules, and communication devices. You will be involved in all stages of product development, from design to testing and production release. This role requires teamwork with engineers from different disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and FPGA development. You will also work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Management, Quality, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and test electronic hardware for industrial products.
• Develop and execute test plans for EMC and environmental compliance.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure products meet certification and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support Agile planning and execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in hardware product development and testing.
• 3+ years in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), I/O modules, and communication devices.
• Experience with automated test systems and scripting.
• Knowledge of certification standards (e.g., CE, IEC, EN)
• Strong communication skills for working with engineers and management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Background in industrial automation or large-scale system development.

Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $ 50.00 - $ 52.00 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
