Job Description
The Analyst, Human Capital Risk’s, primary function is to support activities related to the delivery of exceptional service. The role of the Analyst brings the carrier and broker together by working behind the scenes through the enrollment process.
Objectives And Essential Job Duties
- Work with carriers on the collection of bids for renewal/new business by developing the RFP (Request for Proposal). Carriers will be assigned by Vice President.
- Builds the customer proposal using Dynamis Software and Excel spreadsheets with direction from the Consultant.
- Deliver exceptional, value-added service and consultation to carriers and internal team members, while developing and maintaining strong carrier relationships and partnerships.
- Support Vice President, Benefit Analyst II and Client Relationship Manager in team initiatives.
- Maintain and update client records in APPLIED Epic.
- Use APPLIED Epic to send Requests for Proposals (RFP) to Carriers, prepare and analyze bids, rates, and renewals for employee benefit plans.
- Follows up on outstanding issues in the RFP process and administrative process.
- Meet with Consultant to examine possible plan design or benefit cost changes.
- Use established administrative procedures to complete assigned benefit processes.
- Look for ways to increase your knowledge and value to the organization through training and development.
- Assist the Administration Team as needed with benefit processing during open enrollment and throughout the year with additions and terminations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (i.e Adobe PowerPoint, etc.)
- Achieve Health and Life Insurance Licenses within 1 year of employment or as determined by management.
- Bachelor’s Degree of Art or Science or a suitable combination of education and experience
