Insight Global is hiring an Environmental Engineer to join one of our engineering and construction clients in NY/NJ. This is a full time opportunity on a hybrid work model handling water projects across Edison, NJ; NYC; and Latham. The selected candidate can report through any one of these three office locations.
The Environmental Engineer’s main duty is to ensure the safety, quality, and sustainability of drinking water systems in the Northeast by designing, implementing, and optimizing clean water treatment and distribution solutions.
Key tasks include developing engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting water quality analyses, and contributing to technical knowledge management. The role also involves collaborating with sales staff on proposals, meeting with clients to discuss design needs, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
