Epic Go-Live Support Specialist

Contract

Location: On-site in Boston, MA (at the Brigham and Faulkner main campuses) Pay Rate: $40 - $50/hr Duration: 3-week contract (approximately 80 total hours)

Job Summary

Are you an experienced Epic professional looking for a focused, short-term contract? We're hiring Epic at The Elbow (ATE) Support Specialists to help with the go-live of the Epic Beaker lab module at a major Boston hospital system. This is an on-site, hands-on role where you'll provide critical support to doctors, nurses, and medical assistants with specimen collection and other key Epic workflows.

What You'll Do

• Provide "at the elbow" support to clinical staff during the Epic Beaker module go-live.
• Assist users with standard Epic workflows, including specimen collection.
• Act as a helpful resource and subject matter expert on the floor.
• Support a smooth and successful transition for all end-users.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: You must have prior experience with Epic and "at the elbow" go-live support in a clinical setting.
• Technical Skills: A deep, specialized knowledge of Epic is not required ; standard, basic knowledge of clinical workflows is sufficient.
• Availability: You must be available for a mandatory 3-day orientation starting October 29th , followed by support shifts over the next two weeks.
• Work Style: You should be a strong communicator with a supportive, customer-service-oriented mindset.

Logistics & Perks

• Schedule: The assignment includes an 80-hour commitment spread across three weeks. Shifts will include 5 AM - 2 PM and 2 PM - 12 AM.
