Social Katz is a boutique digital marketing agency specializing in social media strategy, paid ads, content creation, and influencer partnerships. We help small to medium-sized businesses grow their online presence and acquire customers through dynamic, personalized campaigns.

We’re looking for a summer intern to lead the charge in handling all things event-related. Additionally, the ideal candidate will allocate part of their time to developing and engaging our audience across, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in event marketing
• A healthy obsession with content creation and storytelling
• Someone who can spearhead venue partnerships, promote and work events (1–2 per month), and drive attendance
• Someone who isn’t afraid of cold outreach and understands the difference between B2B and B2C marketing
• Brownie points for prior agency experience

What’s Expected

• Someone who is camera-ready — an individual who can both school us in selfies and spin up a photoshoot with their eyes closed
• Stellar writing skills, with the ability to bang out content in your sleep
• A hunger to learn and master social media marketing (even though we know you already know everything)
• Quick response times — both to prospective partner requests and internally over Slack
• Proficiency in Slack, Canva, and Hootsuite
• Initiative! Our team aims to please, and we take enormous pride in being proactive
• Full awareness that passion is overrated — and that there’s no such thing as a missed email

More on the Role

We’re looking for someone local to Philadelphia who has a knack for organizing events. Our preferred candidate will bring curiosity, eagerness, and an entrepreneurial spirit to the table — someone who isn’t afraid to voice bold opinions but is also coachable.

The position is part-time, partially remote, and our goal is to fill the role by May 12th.
