Events/PR Manager (Paramus)
As the Events & PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and promoting events that elevate our brand's presence and drive both consumer and B2B engagement. Working closely with the marketing team, you will coordinate events, manage public relations outreach, and build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry members to increase brand awareness and drive foot traffic to our retail locations. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, organization and attention to detail. You will be responsible for creating memorable events that resonate with both our customers and business partners, while maintaining a strong public relations strategy that amplifies our brand story and drives traffic to our physical stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination:
· Plan and execute a variety of events, both in-store and off-site, including grand openings, product launches, VIP events, trade shows, and consumer-facing experiences.
· Develop detailed event plans, budgets, timelines, and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
· Manage logistics, including vendor relations, event set-up, and on-site support.
· Work with the creative team to develop event materials, signage, and promotional content to ensure consistency with brand messaging.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events via social media, email campaigns, and other media channels.
Public Relations and Consumer Engagement:
· Create and implement PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and media presence, including crafting press releases, pitching to media outlets, and securing coverage.
· Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and bloggers relevant to both consumer and B2B audiences.
· Monitor media coverage and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
· Develop initiatives and strategies to drive foot traffic to our retail stores, as well as increase B2B partnerships and collaborations.
· Identify and execute opportunities for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and co-branded events.
· Manage event guest lists, invitations, and outreach efforts to build long-lasting business relationships.
· Support sales and customer service teams with event-related communications and promotions.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience in event planning, public relations, or a related marketing role, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with an ability to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
· Familiarity with B2B engagement strategies and an understanding of how to drive business partnerships.
