Overview:

Our client, a global leader in Women's Fashion, is seeking a talented and fast-paced Apparel Designer to support the Sport and Swim collections line. This hands-on role focuses on Illustrator sketching , tech pack creation , and supporting the design team during a critical calendar period.

We’re looking for a multi-tasker with great Illustrator speed , a positive attitude, and solid technical knowledge of construction — especially in sport/swimwear. The ideal candidate is flexible, hard-working, and comfortable jumping into a fast-paced, high-energy team.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

  • Sketch product designs in Illustrator with speed and precision
  • Color lines using Illustrator and InDesign
  • Build and update detailed tech packs with BOMs and construction callouts
  • Collaborate with senior designers to execute seasonal concepts

  • Work with Product Development and Technical Design to ensure quality execution
  • Be flexible and available onsite when needed (2 days a week preferred)

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in sport/swim/intimates
  • Must be a fast and clean sketcher using Illustrator (non-negotiable)
  • Tech pack creation and construction knowledge (sport/swim is ideal)
  • Familiar with Centric PLM, Adobe Creative Suite, and InDesign
  • Organized, upbeat, and collaborative team player
  • Able to multitask across fast-changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience

✨ Bonus Points:

  • Experience with bra construction or swimwear design
  • Familiarity with Gen Z styling and culture
  • Prior experience at a large fashion brand or agency

🔁 Conversion/Extension Potential:

This is a short-term, high-impact role to support critical calendar demands. While not expected to convert, top performers may be considered for future openings with various teams within this large organization.
