Job Context:
Job holder is responsible to plan, coordinate and monitor all financial and commercial systems and processes to ensure proper accounting, fund management, risk management, Corporate Governance, Procurement & materials management and management of information systems of the unit enabling the unit to achieve its goal and meet all statutory compliances.
Functional Responsibilities:
a. Finance & Accounting : Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles with focus on internal controls for day-to-day operations, financial reporting and audits.
b. Planning & Budgeting and MIS : Organize Planning & Budgeting for the ABC, USA. Continuous monitoring of actual performance against budget and Developing an effective Management Information System to support Swift Decision Making .
c. Risk Management: Facilitate and co-ordinate risk management including forex risk management.
d. Taxation & Compliance: Ensuring timely compliance with all Taxation and other related Statutory Requirements.
e. Controlling of Capital Expenditure: Review and control all capital expenditure within approved budget, Regular monitoring of capital work in progress and ensure proper accounting and timely capitalization of assets, Monitoring of actual performance for return based capex, Ensure high value procurement negotiations are being done with base costing.
f. Working Capital management : Plan and execute effective working capital management to optimize return on capital employed.
g. Insurance: To secure the assets of the organization against all perils.
h . People Development: Ensure Availability of talent and successor for identified position by planning and monitoring of capacities and capability of team member of production and ETP area.
