Job Description

Pay Rate : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift : Day 2, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Thursday)

Job Overview:

We are looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently moving materials around the warehouse, ensuring optimal load handling and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Securing loads before transportation.
• Operating forklifts and other equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
• Stacking materials in correct bays, ensuring proper load safety.
• Conducting routine pre- and post-inspections on forklift equipment.
• Managing inventory with RF scanning equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards and adhering to safety standards.
• Optimizing loads for efficient transport within the facility.
• Communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Assisting supervisors with other warehouse or manufacturing duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have previous forklift experience and certification (preferably with a Reach Truck or Stand-Up counterbalance).
• Proficiency in operating RF scanners and technical equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and mathematical aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to stand for extended periods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly operate warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to stand, walk , and lift/move up to 30 pounds .
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to talk, hear, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
