Job Title:   Front Office Check-Out
Location:   Raleigh, NC  (occasional travel to other locations may be required)
Starting Salary:  $18/hour
Schedule:   Full-time - Monday-Thursday 8 am-5 pm and Friday 8 am-4 pm with 1 hr lunch. 

Position Summary:
North Carolina Nephrology is seeking an organized and motivated individual to join their team as a   Front Office Check-Out representative. This key role ensures a smooth and positive experience for patients as they complete their appointments and prepares them for continued care by scheduling follow-ups and coordinating next steps. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check out patients promptly and professionally.
• Schedule follow-up visits, ultrasounds, Dopplers, and vein mappings as requested by providers.
• Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately.
• Complete pre-registrations for assigned providers.
• Manage recalls and reschedules for assigned provider panels.
• Monitor and respond to staff messages in Epic promptly.
• Perform other administrative or clinical tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Prior Epic experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation required for occasional travel to other office locations.
• Must have medical doctor front office and insurance experience.
