Job Title: GCP Cloud Architect

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Term: 3 months Renewable (Most likely Extended)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Architect/Engineer with strong experience in Google Services.

What are we looking for:

The Data Architect is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering the role and position of various applications within an enterprise topology. Recognized technical authority for the application and design of data, integration, and information within an organization. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.

Possesses mature communication and diplomacy skills necessary to guide, influence and convince multiple stakeholders, including technology peers, functional stakeholders, and product owners. Delivers significant impact to the understanding, clarity, and direction for strategic data endeavors. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of multiple areas of the organization. Outcome of one's domain impacts the overall performance and effectiveness of the enterprise architecture group.

You will get the chance to work on:

• Conceive and construct conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures.
• Reconcile and design integrations for mainframe, distributed, Big Data, and Cloud data platforms.
• Evaluate and reconcile data integration software and capabilities of major programming languages used in data processing.
• Direct program level data architecture solutions and roadmaps, providing leadership throughout.
• Conceive, compose, and present data architecture concepts and ideas to multiple, diverse audiences
• Pursue outcomes and solutions in an open-minded and inquisitive manner, maximizing the inclusion of ancillary group and stakeholders.
• Communicate problems, solutions, and roadmaps in a logical, organized, and effective manner.
• Evaluates and reconciles program and project objectives against the enterprise data strategy, while maintaining an effective risk control for the enterprise.
• Works in conjunction with information owners and technology partners to define and implement defined roadmaps.

• Leads engineering teams on specific projects or across multiple programs to achieve designed outcomes.

What will help you succeed:

• 12+ years of experience working in Data, and strong background as a Data architect.
• Hands on Architecture -Solutioning.
• Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform OR strong experience with Google Services such as docproc, airflow, bigquery, etc.
• Strong experience working with Hadoop, Spark, and MapR, BigQuery, BigTable, Elasticsearch, Airflow, OnPrem, etc.
• Comprehensive skillset understanding, and ability to construct multiple data architecture artifact types.
• This is strategic data discovery work, so the team needs to be self-driven, solution-oriented, and consultative.
• Substantial communication, negotiation, and presentation skillset
• Highly knowledgeable understanding of the data and information technologies, software, and data platform categories being used and proposed, and how they are suitably integrated.
• Experience working and interacting in large scale programs and projects, providing the appropriate data architecture support leading to successful outcomes.
• Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management
• Analytical, flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal/communication skills
