Job Description

Scully & Scully, the prestigious Park Avenue store is expanding and seeking a General Manager responsible for the management, supervision, and coordination of the daily operations of the store and the daily activities of the sales staff, housekeeping staff, customer service staff, and other associates engaged in the promoting and selling of products to ensure customer satisfaction. The role develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales.

The General Manager works closely with the CEO of the company to help identify, focus, and resolve issues concerning sales, operations, merchandising, advertising, public relations, customer service and other areas.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinates the daily activities of the sales associates in selling products.
• Create eye-catching store layouts and displays that showcase the brand and aesthetic of the store.
• Recruits and interviews applicants for employment.
• Ensures maximum effectiveness of sales associates by involving them in product selling and training updates.
• Promote excellent customer service through emphasis on client books and thank you notes.
• Maintain appropriate records and receipts for all products sold.
• Responsible for the overall look of the store

Requirements:

• College Degree
• Minimum of 10 years of luxury retail management experience
