The Health Information Management Tech assists in document imaging functions by accurately prepping, indexing, scanning and conducting quality assessment on all documentation received and scanned; retrieval of health information data; and responding to record requests properly. You will perform a wide variety of activities to support providers, healthcare professionals and customers with service and information needs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide variety of activities in the support of providers/health care professionals/customers with service and information needs; retrieval of health information data, and health record maintenance.
QualificationsExperience:
At least one-year previous health care, or medical records experience preferred. Familiarization with medical terminology.
