With a team of around 100 employees, we are based in Boston, offering a dynamic, high-performance environment with access to an elite network and resources.

Location: Downtown Boston

Size: 100 employees

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Benefits: 100% paid medical/vision for employee + family (small dental cost ~ $7 monthly)
  • Work Schedule: In-office 3x per week (Tuesday-Thursday)

Role Overview: We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This individual will be located in our Boston office and will serve as the right-hand to the Head of HR. While the role involves a variety of HR functions, the ideal candidate will bring recruitment experience (either current or past) and performance management expertise. The HRBP will have the opportunity to make an impact across multiple HR verticals, including Learning & Development, Employee Relations, engagement programs, coaching, and more.

The position requires someone who can be a strategic partner to leaders at all levels, especially executives and senior professionals. As a key member of a small HR team, you will work collaboratively with other HRBPs to ensure smooth operations across different areas of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment : Although recruitment is only around 15% of the role, you must have prior recruitment experience. You will work with recruitment agencies and support talent acquisition.
  • Performance Management : Lead and manage performance management processes, including coaching and employee development.
  • Learning & Development : Oversee learning and development initiatives to enhance the growth of our employees.
  • Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to management and employees.
  • Coaching & Engagement : Implement and manage coaching programs, as well as initiatives designed to engage and retain top talent.
  • Analyst Program : Run and manage the analyst program to develop emerging talent.
  • Collaboration with Other HRBPs : Work alongside colleagues responsible for total rewards, immigration, compensation, and events.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience : 8-12 years of HR experience, with a focus on performance management and a strong foundation in recruitment (current or past).
  • Personality : Ideal candidates will possess the ability to think quickly, communicate succinctly, and adapt to a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong communication skills are a must, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior executives and investment professionals.
  • Ideal Location : Candidates based in New York, willing to relocate or commute to Boston, are strongly preferred. The role demands the "NY grit" – driven, dynamic, and ready to contribute from day one.

Why Join Us?

  • Work in a mission-driven organization within a world-class institution.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, high-impact HR team.
  • Competitive compensation package and generous benefits, with flexible arrangements for the right candidate.
