We are currently looking for a Internet Parts Sales Assistant to join us in our Durham store.
PURPOSE
This position assists in the daily packing and shipment of orders received, providing the highest level of customer service. Responsible for the long-term development of the online retail business, including sourcing new products and identifying or developing new sales channels.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for maintaining and growing Quality Equipment’s e-commerce revenue on platforms such as Stihl, eBay, Walmart, and ExpertConnect:
o Executing and fulfilling all E-Commerce orders through the daily packaging and shipment of orders
o Uploading parts to the E-commerce platforms, ensuring that pictures, descriptions, and promotional items are properly loaded and with accurate product information listed.
o Always conducts self to be an ambassador of the dealership to ensure the highest customer satisfaction/online rating and to ensure long-term customer relationships
o Assists with Amazon, Qualityequip.store.com and Governmental orders.
• Identifies and develops new external sales channels and the identification and removal of those that are not performing. Works with the Parts Operations Manager on new sales channels that John Deere is implementing.
• Monitors inventory sales history reports, detecting all zero sales parts and placing these items on all E-Commerce platforms for sell.
• Assists with parts counter sales to support customer needs in both their home location and throughout all branches, on an as-needed basis.
• Assists with an accurate and effective parts inventory control system, including a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory specific to the Internet Parts inventory maintained in Durham/ Pittsboro. Assist with annual branch parts physical inventories, as needed.
• Monitors changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.
• Communicates directly with customers on items such as notification that parts orders are complete and sending electronic parts invoices through Foresight. Acts as departmental point of contact for any issues.
• Work on special projects as needed.
• Assist in invoicing E-Commerce orders that come through the different E-Commerce channels.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 2+ year experience in Parts Department operations
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
• Excellent customer service skills, required
• Strong organizational skills and leadership abilities
• Ability to operate a forklift
