Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to design and implement sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, environmental awareness, and a passion for creating functional and inspiring environments in residential, commercial, or public settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present conceptual and detailed landscape designs using 3D modeling software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners on integrated project designs.
• Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape projects.
• Select appropriate materials, plants, and construction techniques aligned with sustainability and client goals.
• Conduct site analysis including soil, drainage, climate, and existing vegetation.
• Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and timeline.
• Address zoning regulations, environmental concerns, and land-use policies in all design considerations.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in landscape design or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/LandFX, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion and/or other landscape design tools.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, environmental design, and sustainable practices.
• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with sustainable design.
• Familiarity with local flora, zoning laws, and climate-specific landscaping.
• Experience with public sector or urban planning projects.
