The ideal candidate for this position must enjoy working with children as well as parents, is a dedicated professional who understands how children learn, and has the ability to create a nurturing learning environment. You should have strong interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating with other teachers, working with students, and talking to families. A Child Development A associates Certificate or Early Childhood Degree is preferred but not required.
