Legal Assistant - Corporate Finance
Job Summary
The Legal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and legal support to assigned attorneys?and, as needed, to additional attorneys and legal assistants within the Corporate/Finance group. This role plays an integral part in facilitating corporate and finance transactions for firm clients, ensuring smooth execution, organization, and communication throughout each matter.
Key Responsibilities
? Support the Corporate/Finance group on a wide range of transactional matters, including closings, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate deals
? Manage and maintain critical dates, deadlines, attorney calendars, and meeting schedules
? Coordinate all phases of transaction logistics, including preparing closing documents, signature packets, and closing binders
? Send and track documents for digital signature via DocuSign
? Handle client and internal correspondence; field and route incoming calls
? Track deal status and maintain organized documentation throughout each transaction
? Coordinate Secretary of State searches and filings; order and manage corporate certificates
? Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient workflow and excellent client service
Minimum Requirements
? Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
? Experience: 3?5 years of corporate legal experience, preferably within a law firm environment
