Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a part-time opportunity in Durham, NC.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our client’s day-to-day operations and ensure smooth order processing, shipping, and customer communications. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and experience working with distributors or resellers.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay range of $22.00-$25.00/hour, depending upon experience. Benefits are available while on contract. The schedule each week is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end shipping process—from placing orders to final delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone and email communication.
  • Track and monitor shipments with vendors and logistics partners.
  • Process sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices accurately using QuickBooks.
  • Manage product inventory and ensure timely product reorders.
  • Support order processing and assist in customer training as needed.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Background in distribution or reseller operations preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Solid understanding of shipping logistics and order fulfillment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
