Responsibilities:
Supervises the direct care of residents and nursing staff during their assigned shifts.
Coordinates daily administrative tasks, including schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care.
Oversees resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Monitors medical charts and provides compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families.
Acts as a liaison to doctors, families, and administrators regarding changes in residents' conditions.
Identifies issues or emergencies and responds in a calm and efficient manner.
Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.
Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
Ensures the accuracy and completion of clinical documentation according to FV policy and State/Federal regulations.
Gives and receives shift reports.
Job Requirements:
Active LPN license.
CPR certification.
2 years of experience in Assisted Living.
Geriatric rehabilitation experience with a strong understanding of restorative nursing.
In-depth knowledge of best nursing practices, along with state and federal regulations.
